In case you missed it, George did a great presentation on Walk-For-A-Day last week. The event was hosted by Green Pastures as an EPIC Lunch & Learn.
Here’s a brief summary of what was discussed in the presentation:
Walk-For-A-Day (WFAD) will be a 34-mile multi-use trail extending from Zilker Park through the Barton Creek Greenbelt, the City of Sunset Valley and City of Austin Water-Quality Lands to the Onion Creek Natural Area west of Kyle. An in-depth environmental assessment of the conceptual route is underway and discussions at weekly meetings among key stakeholders have evolved during the past few months from “big picture planning” to specific routing and engineering designing. Bottom Line: WFAD is on track to becoming a reality in the very near future!
Thanks for the great presentation George. Keep up the good work!
