The 16th Texas Trails & Active Transportation Conference will take place Wednesday, February 3 through Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Austin’s newest and most environmentally sophisticated conference facility, the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center. The conference is now expanded to include bicycle/pedestrian issues and Safe Routes to School and feature national and Texas expert speakers, mobile workshops, exhibits and hands-on learning sessions for planners, designers, engineers, bicycle advocates, trail-builders, educators, vendors and volunteers. Subjects will include non-motorized, multi-use trails, sidewalks, bicycle facilities and the impacts on health, wellness, economic benefits and the environment.
