From the RECA announcement:
Austin’s premier golf tournament, the RECA Charity Golf Classic, will celebrate its 14th year of raising money for Austin charities on Wednesday September 23 at Avery Ranch Golf Club. Individual player spots are on sale now for $275.00 each. The RECA Charity Golf Classic has grown increasingly popular with members of the commercial real estate industry since its debut in 1995.
“Everyone looks forward to this tourney. It’s a beautiful course and Avery Ranch Club is just a great venue for the awards dinner,” said Doug Cotner, of Texas Capital Bank, who co-chairs the event along with Corby Jastrow of Prominent Title.
Proceeds from this year’s RECA Charity Golf Classic will go to the Hill Country Conservancy (HCC), a non-profit land trust that works to marshal public and private resources to preserve the natural areas and scenic vistas, rivers and streams, working farms and ranches, and the rural heritage of the Central Texas Hill Country for people to enjoy and cherish for generations to come.
“Participants in this tournament include some of the most prominent commercial real estate developers/professionals in Austin who come together to raise money for HCC. It is a great way to demonstrate that our industry is about more than developing real estate, we are also committed to appropriate and meaningful land conservation,” said Cotner.
The individual player fee of $275.00 includes green fees and cart, driving range, box lunch, beer, water, soft drinks, dinner buffet, and cocktails. The format is scramble teams of four and golfers do not need a full four-player team to register.
If you would like to register for the tourney, either fill out the team form or the sponsorship form.
Big thanks is due again to RECA for all they've done for HCC and land conservation!
